Before being protected in 1983, by the AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôllée) it was the most imitated cheese in the world as it became almost synonymous with French cheese.
WHY DID WE CHOOSE IT?
It was conceived during the French Revolution, at the end of the 18th century in the Valle dell’Auge. It is a cow's milk cheese with raw milk and soft paste, produced in Normandy, strongly characterized by an elaborate extraction of the curd, several times, in order to give it the particular and very delicate creaminess. You will be able to taste the best producer of Camembert and characterize your oyster dinner with this iconic product.
HOW TO TASTE IT BEST?
Remove it from the refrigerator at least 30 minutes before consumption and enjoy it at room temperature to fully enjoy the taste and creaminess. Pair it with fresh and mineral wines such as the typical Muscadet and excellent Norman oysters such as the Prestige des Mers
