Gauloise "the gallic one" is the Brittanny oyster essence, created by the fifth generation of oyster farmers by Thaëron family, a lineage of artisans who since 1879 have been translating the territory at the mouth of the Belón river into oysters with a unique character. In fact, it can be argued that they were instrumental in the development of the oyster farming of the famous flat Belon oyster, characterized by the finising in Belon river freshwater.
With Gauloise you can appreciate the same flat oyster finishing technique on a concave oyster, after two and a half years growing process in other France oyster region, it is kept for six months in the river delta where ocean wathers mixes with river freshwater.
You can appreciate the herbal and tannic taste, almost astringent, similar to a juicy and crunchy cucumber. The herbaceous essence will persist for a long time after the bite.
